CALI
Size & compatibility guide
CALI holders fit L-shaped angle iron stakes. For the holder to sit tight, the fitting size has to match your angle iron.
1. Measure the side width
With a ruler or caliper, measure the outer width of each side of the angle iron. The most common sizes are 25×25 mm and 30×30 mm.
2. Measure the plate thickness
Measure the thickness of the steel at the edge of one side. It is usually 2.5, 3 or 4 mm.
3. Choose the fitting
Choose the fitting with the same width. If your angle iron is painted or rusty and measures 1 mm more (e.g. 26 mm), choose the 26 or 31 mm fitting.
Compatibility chart
| Your angle iron measures | Choose fitting | Thickness |
|---|---|---|
| 24.5 – 25.4 mm | 25 mm | ≤ 3.0 mm |
| 25.5 – 26.4 mm | 26 mm | ≤ 3.0 mm |
| 29.5 – 30.4 mm | 30 mm | ≤ 3.0 / 4.0 mm |
| 30.5 – 31.4 mm | 31 mm | ≤ 4.0 mm |
Tips
- Always measure the actual piece — angle irons from different shops vary by ±0.5 mm.
- Galvanised or painted? Add 0.5 to 1 mm.
- Not sure? Send us a photo with a ruler next to your angle iron and we'll tell you which to pick.
